Eluveitie 11/28/12 @ 910 Live
I didn’t realize that I never published these! I was WAY too close to Ivo, and there was this guy, Ryan, who was playing the whistle along to the entire set. And then they pulled him onto the stage for the last song, and he played with them! It was lovely, but my phone had died at that point.
Also, I have videos that I need to edit… My audio turned out amazingly!
Varg, a Pagan Metal band from Germany. This was their first time in the United States, and they kicked some serious ass. If you haven’t listened to them yet, I strongly advise you do so. They had some damn catchy tunes, like Guten Tag. They were a welcome addition to this line up. And, the lead singer, pretty fucking attractive if I don’t say so myself! ;D
Be prepared to hate the living shit out of me.
So. The last few days were fucking remarkable!!!
I got off work tuesday night, nick picked me up, we went to meet a friend for tickets to the show wednesday, but when we got there he was getting off work, so we gave him a ride home and hung out for a few hours.
THEN.
Wednesday, the day of all the epicness. THE WINTERSUN/ELUVEITIE SHOW. WINTERSUN’S FIRST TIME PLAYING IN THE UNITED STATES.
Alright. We arrived early, I didn’t get my media pass for this event, but just word of mouth was enough. So… I met Jari and Teemu, and was on stage right for most of the show. I was recruited by my friend’s band Adavant to put war paint on everyone with my friend Ashley, so I met TONS of new people that way… I mean, they did trust me with putting black grease all over their face. XD
We met these people from colorado, Jade, Michael and Jackson. I ended up inviting them to the after party, which was amazing, and we hung out with them all day today before they had to fly back to their corner of hell. Apparently, I earned bonus points for finding three EPIC people, and inviting them. Hah. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a great time in my life, truly spectacular!
