Renaissance festival.
So today I went to the Arizona Renaissance Festival, and it was honestly one of the best times I’ve had in a while. I didn’t dress up, but I was in great company, saw some of my really good friends I haven’t seen in ages, and overall had a blast. I managed to resist buying everything except a rune necklace, but now that I have an idea of what I need/want to purchase, I will be returning in the very near future… Like, next Monday.
Highlights of the day:
1. The jousting finally. Epic, that is all.
2. Costumes, lots and lots of epic costumes.
3. The Ded Bob show.
4. An AMAZING taco salad for lunch.
5. About 4738291038743829 vendors and spending ten zillion hours looking at everything.
The week will only get EVEN MORE EPIC, because Wednesday is ELUVEITIE and CHILDREN OF BODOM. I am stoked. My favourite band, my good friends. The only thing missing is my boyfriend.
Speaking of which, one year ago today, he flew out here for me and made out dreams become a reality. <3
